About the Vintage 11 Year

From Ricardo Gamarra’s personal collection, this Extra Añejo has a 20-year production cycle. Mature, 9 year, blue agave is harvested and aged in French oak casks for 11 years. AsomBroso's 11-year can be described as ‘Nectar of the Gods’ and compares well to the finest cognacs.

Taste Profile-The nose is sweet with hints of butterscotch and caramel; aeration expands to include honey oak, and a touch of cinnamon; the opening palate is warming agave without the bitterness. Mid-palate reveals notes of vanilla and oak moving towards a smooth finish.

The Collaboration is another groundbreaking masterpiece using our ultra-premium tequila and Napa’s esteemed Silver Oak Cellar’s American casks, which has produced a one-of-a-kind, ultra-premium, 11-year-old, double barrel-rested, Cabernet Sauvigion extra anejo.

Taste Profile-Distinct from any other tequila in the world, with hints of vanilla, oak, butterscotch from the 11- year, French oak-resting, and a bountiful kiss of fruit, boysenberries and fine-grained tannin from the Silver Oak barrel, which adore the agave and culminate with a taste experience of pure pleasure.

About the Del Porto Extra Anejo

This tequila is the first of its kind and is from Ricardo Gamarra’s personal collection. After double barrel-resting his Vintage 11 Year Old Extra Añejo in the newly-acquired port barrels from Portugal, Del Porto was born. 

 

Taste Profile-Del Porto’s texture is smooth and silky while the aroma inhibits a semi sweet, yet oaky persona; palate entry is oaky with floral undertones, while the mid-palate gives way to a toffee with a sweet port.
